The National Standard GOST R ISO 9001-2001 has been developed on the basis of the International Standard ISO 9001:2000. It defines the requirements to Quality Management System of a Company.To support this Standard in Russia there is a series of legislative acts on necessity of certification for the compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2001. In particular, according to the government Decree №113 dated 02.02.1998, one of the terms to receive state order is availability of such certificate.
